Repairing a damaged house in Bucha

A house owned by Bernatsky family in Bucha, Ukraine, was damaged during the Russian occupation of the town in March 2022. Its roof was almost destroyed by shelling, and the interior was burnt out.

In July and August 2022, Povna Mira provided the Bernatsky family with financial aid to help recover their house. The renovation is still underway - the roof has been repaired and the interior work is being carried out. The family is living in their parents’ apartment at the moment.
